“Have courage to speak your truth. Those who respect it will listen”

If we feel disrespected, wronged, dissatisfied, or any other of a multitude of feelings, speaking our truth may be the medicine we require. There can be a lot of barriers to that: not having an outlet that will listen, being gas-lighted or invalidated by those one might depend on, not feeling worthy or that it's important enough.

These are all insecurities, lies, and/or abuse that devalue our sovereignty and our own truth.

When we have the courage to express our truth, life will shift around that. The universe will hear you, and will organize around meeting the needs surrounding our truth. Those that respect you and truly love you will respect your truth and will listen. Those that do not may have their own agendas, their own pain, or their own desires that block them from acknowledging. Sometimes they might need to process that to be able to listen. Sometimes they are outright toxic and harmful to one's relationship to oneself. Speaking our truth will illuminate these blocks and our relationships will change around that, and that is a good thing.

If we do not speak our truth, no one will know what our truth is.

This bleeds into the importance of needs, validation, and boundaries, all of which are rooted in respect for our truth and speaking it.
