As Spring approaches and the sun begins to thaw the Earth, let yourself enjoy some sunshine! Our luminous star brings life to all. I invite you to dance and play in those rays of joy, letting the stress this past year has taken upon you melt away.

Before my clinical exam today, instead of filling my head with last minute algorithms and differential diagnoses, I went to the park down the street and laid down in the grass with the sun beaming down on me, bathing me in it's loving warmth. I set and alarm and closed my eyes, disappearing into the relaxation that followed.

I thought to myself, "Derek, when was the last time you lay down like this?" And that I even had to ask that question was baffling to me. I feel like it should be every day.
