Today is a shout-out to Nature! She’s so beautiful!

One of the reasons humanity has been born from the Earth is to nurture and take care of the living things that came before us. Cultivating the medicines of the plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, and spirits, harmonizing with their interweaving worlds, realizing we are all one ecosystem: this is our path.

Biodiversity is significantly threatened by our way of life. We are wasteful and mindless in our indulgence. Our industry ravages still. If we continue to rely on fossil fuels, keep throwing away precious metals, and encroaching deep in the last wild places left on Earth, our biodiversity will collapse. This isn’t just the death of the romance of nature. This possible future is our doom. New diseases, ever more dangerous pandemics, decline of soil health and mass die-off of microorganisms, leading to sterility of farmland, impure water, toxic to drink, weakening atmosphere, flickering magnetic field: these are just some of the consequences of our gluttony. On this path, our Planet’s lush, living soul will wither, and it will take a vast amount of time to heal.

We’re changing, though! We’re getting better! We’re moving towards the solution. Actually doing it! There are ways we can progress, thrive, and yet live in harmony with the planet and our brothers, sisters, and friends of the living Earth.

When we embrace the living soul of the Earth and truly connect to being a caretaker for the Earth, we can connect deeply with the wisdom of theses living things. They permeate through our essence, guiding us and aiding us in myriad ways.

Thank you, brothers and sisters of the plant and animal world, the fungi and the tiny ones we cannot see, the massive ones to which we are mere molecules, may you be nurtured.

We are here. We will persevere. Life will blossom.
